Sudhir Chhetri is a versatile self-taught artist whose creative journey began after earning his Masters in Architecture in 2019.

His artwork often reflects his keen observations of nature and the environment, as well as his interests in world history, politics and social landscape.

He has a dynamic approach to art, refusing to be confined to a single medium or subject, and instead explores a wide range of styles and techniques.

Notably, Sudhir gained recognition as a finalist in the Lester Art Prize 2022 for his compelling self-portrait titled "Soup of the Day," which captures his experience as a chef working in aged care during the covid lockdowns. In 2022, he also received the Judges Choice Award at the Portland Art Show for his work titled "Wind Turbines", depicting the coastal landscape of Gunditjmara Country, Victoria.

Originally from Nepal, Sudhir is currently based in Kabi Kabi Country, Queensland. He continues to push the boundaries of his artistic expression
